Similar in style to the Footwell Tubes, Brakelight Tubes give your vehicle's rear end that extra something other lighting systems miss. If you're going to light it up, why not do it right? Get all of the typical color-selectability of our other products, but add in the safety features of brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signal repeaters. The small size of the waterproof tubes makes them ideal for lighting up your car's license plate, highlighting your motorcycle's back end and engine, or giving a unique glow to your wheel wells. These can also be used for general purpose exterior lighting.
When power is first applied, the Tube will quickly fade up from black to white, shine a bright white for 8-10 seconds, and then begin a slow, continuous cycle through the entire rainbow of colors. A control wire allows you to freeze the color at any time and store it in memory. The next time power is applied, the chosen color will shine down. Simply apply power to the control wire again at any time to begin the color cycling once again.
Tap into your vehicle's existing brake and reverse lights and show everyone behind you that you mean business. The Tubes will turn red with every press of the brake pedal, and white when you place it into reverse. An NHTSA study has shown that LED-based brake lights increase driver reaction time by a quarter of a second, preventing many collisions... tell THAT to the officer who just pulled you over.

Replace the stock bulbs in your sidemarkers or insert these in your side mirrors and give a little glow to those around you. They'll blink amber with your turn signal, turn red with your brakes, and white with your reverse lights
